Phoenix Precision Polishing techniques for producing lenses and optics extend to all optical materials from the Ultra-violet (UV) to the Long Wave Infrared (LWIR). Phoenix have in place both spindle and CNC generating and polishing cells supported by central opto-mechanical testing and comprehensive metrology for both in-line and final test.
Processing to a typical ½ fringe form error spherical parts have been produced in diameters ranging from 10mm to 600mm.
Aspheric parts in the IR wavelengths are processed and available and a full range of visible aspheres can be made available on request.
Phoenix Precision Polishing has the advantage of extensive glass stock availability, short lead-time cut discs and mouldings, coating and in-house tooling manufacture.
